The saying “Carbon neutral beer, anyone?” may sound foreign to you for now… but not for long.

The Agincourt Hotel is proud to say it’s Australia’s first greenhouse friendly, carbon neutral pub! This makes The Agincourt the first pub in Australia to offer its clients the opportunity to order carbon neutral beer and to help offset greenhouse emissions. It does this by investing 2.5 cents from each beer sold into energy efficiency initiatives and landfill methane abatement projects. By doing so, the Agincourt Hotel has negated its carbon footprint by giving back to the environment what it takes out and more.

Recent energy efficiency measures involving the installations of LED downlights have resulted in a direct saving of 5.43 Tonnes of CO2e every year.

The Agincourt Hotel and the Carbon Reduction Institute also offer you the option to offset your unavoidable carbon emissions.

The Carbon Reduction Institute has conducted an audit of the greenhouse gas emissions associated with this product / service.
